AC Competition Phases – new chart

New in 2016:  Three races per day

Beginning with the Oman event, there are three races scheduled each day in the America’s Cup World Series events. Remember the curious rule that makes races on Day 2 worth double – so coming in last on Day 2 earns the same number of points as coming in first on Day 1. Now, with this new change, the Oman event will be worth as much as the 2015 events in Portsmouth and Gothenburg combined.
