Visitors to the America’s Cup World Series in New York will be only a short walk from the World Trade Center. The event village will be close to the site of the twin towers of the World Trade Center, destroyed in the 2001 attack. The new One World Trade Center building is the highest in North America – 1776 feet tall, the height symbolically recalling the year of the United States’ independence. The largest manmade waterfalls in North America surround the reflecting pools at the site of the twin towers.

The team bases will be across the Hudson River in New Jersey, at Liberty Landing Marina. See map.
