The race area was just to the west of Two Rock Passage. For the America’s Cup World Series the Village was in Hamilton, with the boats moored off Front Street. In 2017 the AC Village will be at Dockyard and the race area will be over more of the Great Sound.

The Race Committee had hoped to have the second race of each day finish in Hamilton Harbor. When Saturday’s racing was cancelled for lack of winds, three races were scheduled for Sunday and there was not enough time to race all the way in to Hamilton. Map: ACEA.

The race course was very short – typically two tacks or gybes on each leg.
