BAR launched their AC45-X (experimental) on 22 October 2014.
Remember that America’s Cup World Series racing will be in one design foiling AC45’s and that the experimental AC45-X catamarans are not one design and will not race in the ACWS. In 2014, Artemis Racing, Luna Rossa and BAR have sailed AC45-X catamarans. Oracle has not sailed theirs in 2014, possibly to allow themselves to build experimental boats from scratch (maybe we should call them AC45-XX) – we’ve already seen some drawings.
